Can I use GitOps with Fleet Manager hub cluster?

I have created a new AKS fleet with Fleet Manager. I want to deploy my platform tooling to the clusters. The Introducing Azure Kubernetes Fleet Manager intelligent resource placement document sounds like it can be used for tooling and works with GitOps.

Platform administrators often need to deploy Kubernetes resources onto multiple clusters for various reasons, including:

• Running infrastructure applications, such as Prometheus or Flux, that need to be on all clusters.

Using Fleet Manager's intelligent resource placement involves these steps:

1. Stage resources on hub cluster: use Continuous Deployment, GitOps or similar to apply the manifests for resource for distributions on the Fleet Manager hub cluster.

I can't find a doc on how to use GitOps with the hub cluster, but the documentation suggests it is possible. Can I use something like Flux, or do I need to use kubectl to deploy to the hub cluster?
