💻 Operating system
macOS 26.1
🌐 Browser and version
Firefox Developer 153.0b11 (aarch64)
🧩 Extension version
2.0.3
🧱 Redmine version
Redmine 4.1 😬
🐛 Bug description
I often run into the same following issue randomly: in the extension popup I get the error:
Unknown error: TypeError - can't access property "is_public", e is undefined
Even though the settings still show that I'm connected to Redmine. If I simply open the settings, edit and save the Redmine connection again (without changing anything), the error disappears.
Is this a known bug? Do you have any idea what could be causing it?
Its funny that even do it probably has nothing todo with the redmine-connectino it is still needet to solves it temporarly.
The issue is not fatal or anything close to that. I just wanted to point it out.
P.S. I really love the v2 update so far—thanks for all the hard work, @CrawlerCode! 🚀
🧪 Steps to reproduce
- Wait a few days.
- Click the TimeTracker extension toolbar icon.
- Admire the unexpected error message for a brief moment. 😄
- Open the extension settings and save the Redmine connection again (no changes required).
- Click the toolbar icon again – the error is gone.
