Code of Conduct

Our pledge

We want taking part in this project to be a good experience for everyone, whatever their background, experience level, nationality, appearance, race, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual identity or orientation, age, body size, visible or invisible disability, or level of education.

Expected behaviour

  • Be considerate and respectful in issues, pull requests and reviews.
  • Accept constructive criticism gracefully, and offer it kindly.
  • Assume good faith. Most disagreements here are about a technical choice, not about a person.
  • Focus on what is best for the people who use this software.

Unacceptable behaviour

  • Sexualised language or imagery, or unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Insults, derogatory comments, or personal or political attacks.
  • Harassment, public or private.
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission.
  • Any other conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Scope

This applies in all project spaces, including the repository, its issues and pull requests, and any space where someone is representing the project.

Enforcement

Report unacceptable behaviour to the maintainer through the repository's issue tracker or, where the matter is sensitive, through GitHub's private reporting.

Reports will be reviewed and responded to in a way that fits the circumstances. The maintainer is obliged to respect the privacy and safety of anyone who reports an incident, and may remove comments, commits, issues or contributions that breach this document, or ban a contributor temporarily or permanently for behaviour they judge inappropriate, threatening or harmful.
