Read me first: how to ask a good question

Welcome to Q&A — the place for "how do I…?" questions, configuration problems, and help with your ip·Solis deployment.

A little structure gets you a good answer faster. 🙏

Before you ask

• Skim the documentation and search existing discussions — your question may already be answered.
• Confirm it's a question, not a bug. Reproducible bugs and concrete feature requests belong in Issues.

A good question includes

1. What you're trying to do and what's blocking you.
2. Your ip·Solis version (the VERSION file).
3. Your edition — non-commercial or commercially licensed.
4. How you deploy and the relevant integrations (AD, Entra ID, vSphere, XenServer, SCCM, SMTP…).
5. What you've already tried and any error messages or log excerpts.

⚠️ Never paste secrets

No passwords, API keys, license files, tokens, or unredacted audit logs / personal data. Redact everything sensitive before posting — public discussions are indexed and cached.
