In a similar set of risk exposure profiles as #41, we should consider the case where quantum technology advances enough to break our keys, and to an extent user keys. The network is developing implementations of signature host functions for the NIST signing candidates in discussions/1915. Should these only become available in Soroban, like with passkeys, we would still need significant migration and refactoring to adopt keypairs in a post-quantum world.
