The React branch is feature-react. I'll sketch out some quick ideas in that branch. Once it builds successfully, we can add features.

Some of the npm scripts in package.json don't work, but it builds. To preview the extension, put this in one terminal:

$ npm run dev:watch

and in another terminal:

$ npm run preview

TODO: fix the other scripts, and get npm start to run both scripts at once.

I'll transfer the old code into React.
