Experimental settings have an option to use bundled git rather than system git. I ticked it, but it does not work, any checkout still errors out saying git is not installed.

I'm experiencing the same issue on macOS. Enabling "Use bundled git" in experimental settings doesn't seem to take effect — checkouts still fail or fall back to system git. Restarting the app after toggling the setting didn't help either.

Would be helpful to know:

Does the setting require an app restart to take effect?
Is there a way to verify which git binary the app is actually using after enabling this?

To clarify, I did install git afterwards, restarted the app again, and things started working. But to your point @harisrujanc, the setting is still on "use bundled" and the UI does not otherwise indicate which one is actually used.
