Issue Subcategory:
Accessible name does not contain visible text
User Experience:
Speech input users cannot activate a control by saying its visible label because the accessible name is completely different. They must guess the programmatic name or use fallback navigation.
Repro Steps:
Start Narrator/NVDA --> Launch URL https://dccentral-test.microsoft.com/training/packages/27d6e984-54f7-4dd0-93a1-983e2136b41d/0/new --> Labor Training --> Add new package --> Inform
Actual Result:
The visible label displayed for the edit field is "Tainers for 134"; however, the accessible name exposed to assistive technologies is different. A button visually displays “Submit” but the accessible name (via aria-label) is set to “Send form data”. The visible text is not contained in the accessible name.
Expected Result:
The accessible name must contain the visible text label as displayed, so speech input commands like “click Submit” work correctly.
How to fix:
Ensure the aria-label or accessible name includes the visible text. If additional context is needed, append it: aria-label="Submit order form" (starts with the visible “Submit”).
