Also suggested by the clanker. Catch more possible exceptions in writer.write() and writer.drain(). This also adds a ServerAbortedError, which indicates that we are aborting early to catch something unknown that we should never be experiencing. In general the exception handling was also just cleaned up to make it a little easier to diganose bugs.
