  • Update AGP.
  • Bump compile SDK and target SDK to API 37.
  • Update dependencies.

I'm not sure if it's the background-playback sample itself, or the MediaSession connector (probably both), but background playback is very broken on Android 17.

  • Going to background and bringing the app back to foreground fully resets the source
  • Notification center widget controls do not work.
