Hi, I'm Amgad Ali. I started out as a Civil Engineer, spent years as an Air Traffic Controller, and now I build software full time.

Same instinct every time: take something messy and high-stakes, and make it work calmly under pressure. Let's build something. 🚀

Most of it lives in private and client repos, and there's a lot of it:

  • 🛡️ FinTech fraud detection — ML risk models wired to a real-time alerting engine
  • 🏅 Sports & fitness products — multi-tenant event platforms and a personal endurance coach
  • 🐳 Developer tooling — browser-based Docker control and workflow helpers
  • 🌐 Web apps — a steady stream of them for a range of clients

🌱 Out in the open

  • cc-pacer: a Claude Code statusline that tracks your usage pace and projected cost.
  • docker-lite-web: a lightweight Docker GUI that runs right in your browser.
  • R01-Enhancer: a Chrome extension that unlocks near-admin "god mode" on the 01-edu audit platform.
