Under heavy concurrent add/remove churn on the same directory, the QNX io-notify resource manager can transiently fail RemoveWatch with EINVAL, which permanently invalidates the watch descriptor. Retry the whole add+remove step (obtaining a fresh descriptor) up to kMaxWatchAttempts; fail only on a non-EINVAL error or persistent failure.
