Research software engineers often work in environments unsuitable for programming. Often management, colleagues don't recognise importance of environment.
Find a friendly way of demonstrating the importance of environment. Game that has:
- programming-like task for non-programmers
- introduces distractions
- assesses effect of distractions on programming-like task
- modular, so people can design new annoying task
- produce metrics. Does distraction really affect tasks?
- Clone the repository to a local folder. e.g. "git clone git@github.com:simoncodes/simoncodes.git"
- From the cloned directory, run "python -m SimpleHTTPServer"
- Open a browser and view the site at: http://0.0.0.0:8000/
