Drop tsdown in favor of tsc as the emitter and publish the package ESM-only. Rework the tsconfig for TypeScript 7, trimmed to options that deviate from the new defaults plus noUncheckedIndexedAccess, noImplicitOverride, verbatimModuleSyntax, isolatedModules and erasableSyntaxOnly. Split typecheck (tsconfig.json) from emit (tsconfig.build.json, which excludes tests). Keep tsx as the test runner and guard array/index accesses surfaced by noUncheckedIndexedAccess.
